Emma qualified from Cardiff Dental School in 2006 with a 1st Class Honours degree. After initially working in Wales and Chester, Emma decided to relocate back to Surrey to be closer to her family. She is a longstanding dentist at Longborough dental practice, having been at the practice for over 10 years.
Emma has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry and completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Aesthetic Dentistry with Dr Christopher Orr in 2013. Emma recently completed her Postgraduate Certificate in Clear Aligner Therapy and Digital Dentistry. She loves using clear aligner orthodontics to help her patients achieve beautiful smiles. Emma enjoys keeping up to date with dentistry and is a Full member of the College of General Dentistry, as well as the Clear Aligner Dental Academy.
Outside of dentistry Emma’s interests include baking and growing her own fruit and vegetables. She has an interest in nutrition and loves anything to do with food and cooking. Emma loves travelling abroad when she gets a chance but can otherwise be found exploring the beautiful Surrey and Sussex countryside with her rescue collie cross, Millie.

Patients must be dentally fit to proceed with Invisalign. Whether a patient is deemed dentally fit for treatment will be at the clinician’s absolute discretion. Additional treatment required to make a patient dentally fit and suitable for Invisalign will be charged at an additional cost.
The discount will be applied when the final payment is made following the completion of the full Invisalign. The offer will not apply to appointments booked for an initial consultation only. Appointments are subject to availability and are with Dr Emma McFarlane. In the event that the treatment is paid for upfront in full the discount will be applied at the point of payment.
For all treatments which are not paid for upfront in full the discount will be applied when the final payment is made. Payments are subject to the standard practice policy which is available upon request. The Invisalign discount is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and is not redeemable for cash or other treatments.
All sales are final. In the event that Dr Emma McFarlane is unavailable for any appointment scheduled in relation to this offer, Longborough Dental & Implant Clinic will use best efforts to rearrange the appointment. The Invisalign discount cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. Longborough Dental & Implant Clinic will exercise reasonable care to ensure that the treatment provided is safe and effective. However, Longborough Dental & Implant Clinic cannot guarantee that the treatment will be free from all risks. In the unlikely event that you experience any issues; we encourage you to contact the Practice immediately so that we can address your concerns.
Please note that this does not affect your statutory rights, including any claims for personal injury that may arise due to negligence. Please note that the Practice accepts no liability on behalf of the treating clinician and acts strictly as a liaison between the patient and the treating clinician only.
