Qualifying from Kings College, London in 1988, Shernaz is a member of numerous dental organisations and has many years of general practice experience. She takes a pride in helping her patients get the smile they have always wanted and enjoys doing restorative, cosmetic and implant dentistry.

Shernaz has two daughters and she takes pleasure in lunching, shopping and travelling with them. She likes fitness training and outdoor running and is an active member of her local church.

Emma qualified in 2006 from Cardiff University with First Class Honours in Dentistry and was awarded the Rita Cohen Prize in Biochemistry and the Dentsply Award for Clinical Excellence. Emma began her career in Wales and later gained extensive experience in general practice in both Chester and Brighton before returning home to beautiful Surrey.

Emma has a gentle and friendly approach to dentistry ensuring all her patients feels relaxed, cared for and listened to. She is passionate about dentistry and has a postgraduate certificate in Cosmetic and Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry from the renowned Advanced Dental Seminars in London. Emma particularly enjoys helping her patients to achieve the smile they have always wanted and is our Invisalign clear aligner provider here at Longborough.

In her spare time Emma enjoys spending time with friends and family, growing her own produce at her allotment and walking locally with her rescue collie cross Millie.

Dr Mohamed Nabijee

Mohamed Nabijee qualified from the Royal London Dental Hospital in 2001 and before he began working at Longborough Dental Practice he successfully ran three dental practices in South London. In 2014 he completed a Masters Degree in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry (MSc) with the University of Manchester, following which he then became a Dental Foundation Trainer for Kent, Surrey and Sussex. He now is a Clinical Tutor for Undergraduate dental students at Kings College London and combines education, experience and a gentle touch to provide his patients with exceptional restorative and routine dental care.

Mohamed places his patients’ comfort and satisfaction above all else. He takes the time to personalise the dental experience taking the fear and intimidation out of dentistry. His specialist interests are in Cosmetic dentistry and Implantology. He is also a certified provider of Botox injections and Dermal Fillers.

When he is not working Mo leads an active life. His three daughters keep him busy and he stays fit by cycling and going to the gym. He has a passion for travel and loves to socialise with friends and family.

Dr William Scott

William obtained his initial dental degree from Dundee University (1985). After graduating he worked for a number of years in both the NHS and private sectors of general dental practice in the UK. Returning to dental academia in the late nineties William studied advanced restorative dentistry for two years at Glasgow University, graduating with an MSc (2001). A further two years postgraduate training followed at the Eastman Dental Institute in London where he gained an MClinDent in Endodontology (2003).

William has worked exclusively as a referral clinician with practice limited to Endodontics for more than ten years in London and now in Dorking. He enjoys the challenge of working in high-quality, specialist orientated practices such as Longborough.

William spent a number of years living in France and somehow squeezed in a BA, MA and PHD in French History. Formerly a keen footballer and rock climber he now prefers the more sedate pleasures of baking and jigsaws.

Longborough Marilena Siaili

Marilena qualified from the Institute of Dentistry in Athens in 2008 and subsequently worked as a general dentist. In 2013 she completed her specialty training at Bart's and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry (Queen Mary University of London) with Distinction and was awarded an MClinDent in Periodontology.

At the same time, she obtained a membership in Restorative Dentistry at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and she is since registered on the GDC’s specialist list for Periodontics.

Marilena has worked in private and NHS practices in the Greater London area, Essex and Kent. She is committed to providing basic and advanced periodontal care since good health of the teeth supporting tissues sets the foundations for achieving oral health.

Her special interests involve the treatment of periodontitis and peri-implantitis, surgical treatment of non-responsive periodontal defect areas, periodontal regeneration, soft tissue aesthetics and crown lengthening procedures.

In her spare time Marilena enjoys swimming, handcrafting, and spending time with friends and family.

Dr Saj Sivanadarajah

Graduating from King’s College London in 2013, Saj began his career in Cornwall, gaining experience in general dentistry. He later moved along the coast to Poole, Bournemouth and Portsmouth, working in both practices and hospitals, whilst attaining his membership to The Royal College of Surgeons. Following this, he returned home to Surrey where he has been working in general practice since.

Saj has undertaken numerous courses, covering cosmetic, restorative and implant dentistry as well as periodontics, allowing him to develop a broad range of skills within general practice. He has a calm and friendly manner putting even the most anxious patients at ease. Combined with this, his clear communication style makes him approachable to all patients.

Outside of work, Saj’s interests include keeping active and spending too many hours on DIY projects in his home and garden. Above all, he enjoys exploring sights and cuisine with friends and family.

Lucy Wall Landscape

After qualifying from Cardiff Dental School in 2017, Lucy moved from general practice in Reading to London. Here she underwent two years further training in Oral Surgery and Restorative Dentistry at Guys Hospital and St George’s Hospital, which sparked her interest in both of these areas. She has since moved to Surrey, where she splits her time between general practice and working as an Oral Surgery Specialty dentist at East Surrey Hospital.

Alongside gaining her membership to The Royal College of Surgeons, Lucy has undertaken numerous courses, including Monik Vasant composite bonding course. Lucy endeavours to create a calm and relaxed environment for patients, to ensure treatment is as comfortable as possible for them. Alongside her keen interest in oral surgery, she enjoys providing minimally invasive and preventative dentistry.

Outside of work, Lucy enjoys tennis, going to the gym and visiting National Trust houses. When possible, she loves travelling abroad and exploring new countries.

Amreet qualified from King's College London in 2022 with Honours in Dentistry. She understands the anxiety that can be involved, and strives to create a welcoming and friendly environment. Empathy and patient comfort are securely embedded within her practice, to ensure that her patients feel fully supported and confident with their care. She is dedicated to continuing her professional development by keeping up to date with modern advances in Dentistry. Beyond her professional pursuits, Amreet enjoys practicing yoga, spending time with friends and family and exploring new destinations when time permits.

Janet has been in dentistry for many years now, she originally qualified as a Therapist in New Cross and found it a fulfilling and exciting two years of training that she could have wished for.

However, in the 1980s, Therapists were not able to work in General Practice, so in 1984 she was accepted at Guys Hospital for their Hygienist course. She has concentrated on Hygiene work ever since.

Janet has worked in three General Dental Practices in Surrey, as well as being able to bring up her family.

She has also been involved with the BSDHT in the South East Region and found being involved with this organisation very rewarding.

Rebecca Haynes

Rebecca gained her Dental Hygiene and Therapy qualification at Newcastle University. She has great communication skills and a bubbly personality which she brings to her work with great enthusiasm.

Outside of work Becky enjoys travelling, high adrenaline sports and running. She recently went on a trip to Uganda with a dental charity called Dentaid, there with a team of UK and Ugandan dental professionals they travelled to communities that did not have access to dental care to treat their dental needs.

Becky is currently fundraising for her second trip to Uganda with Dentaid which will take place in June 2021, she is looking to run her 3rd marathon to help with fundraising.

Carlene gained her Dental Hygiene qualification in 2009 at The University of the Western Cape in Cape Town, South Africa. She takes great care in ensuring that every patient walks out with a healthy smile and aims to provide the best treatment and care.

Outside of work Carlene enjoys travelling, exploring and spending time with her family and close friends.

Michelle has been with us since 2013, mainly working for William Scott, our Dental Practitioner with a special interest in Endododontics. With twelve years experience, she is skilled and enthusiastic and makes patients feel relaxed during the long appointments.

She enjoys spending time with her friends and family, especially her nephew Theo.

Beccy joined us in October 2019 as a full time Dental nurse, after 4 years working at an NHS practice in East Grinstead. Qualifying in 2017 with a Diploma in Dental nursing, She continues to work hard and add to her knowledge of Dentistry.

In her spare time Beccy enjoys spending time with her 6 nephews and going for walks in the countryside.

Wai-Wai came to Longborough in January 2007 on a temporary basis. She was an instant success and has been with us ever since. Now a full-time member of the team, she is very popular with our patients. Wai-Wai takes a keen interest in music and once took part in the regional finals of ‘Battle of the Bands’. Wai Wai has now taken on the very important role of Practice Manager.

She now works as a Patient Advisor and her training and experience at the Practice are proving to be great assets in helping her to ensure our patients receive exemplary levels of service.

Theresa Low Ying

Patient Advisor

Theresa is our full time Patient Advisor. She is highly regarded by Longborough patients and is also very popular with the team, regularly baking biscuits and cakes for the staff room.

Over the 20 years that she has been at the Practice she has demonstrated great ability to adapt to change but has always shown the same high level of care and consideration when dealing with patients.
